50 yrs??? WOW!! Alot has happened, so let's begin..... graduated from BJC in 1967 and married John Kunz-Boise High 1964-went to U of I 1 yr and graduated from North Texas State University Denton, Texas in1969. I taught school while my husband went to seminary in Dallas. He pastored a church in Big Creek, CA. for 36 yrs. A great place to raise out 4 kids-2 girls, 2 boys. We gave them "roots to grow and wings to fly" and fly they have into 3 different states. They are parents to 5 grandchildren--8 yrs-1 yr. In Dec of 1982 I suffered a Brain Stem Stroke due to a chiropractic manipulation of my neck, which changed my life completely! When I woke from the coma I was unable to move or speak. My kids were 9, 6, 4, and 2. A friend sent us a saying, "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade." With the Lord's help we have done just that. It hasn't been easy, but overall, life has been good, even in a wheelchair!! In Aug 2009 my life took another drastic change, the love of my life passed away from a rare form of cancer. The last 6 yrs has been filled with a lot of changes and one of the biggest changes is having 3 caregivers instead of 1, my husband. I live in Pasadena,CA with my daughter close to the Rose Bowl(2 blocks)and there's always something going on. Isaiah 41:10 has been my verse, especially the last 6 yrs. The Lord has been there to lift my spirits and to move me forward. "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." NASB Circumstances don't allow me to come to the reunion, but I've enjoyed catching up with you all through the bios.
