Graduated Borah High 1965, attended Boise State College. Spent 2 years in Scotland on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Came back to Boise State and Ricks College.

Married Linda Maurene Lamm (Meridian High class of 1966 {& I got the best part of the deal]) Joined Red Steer Management program, and ended up as a multi unit manager. After 10 years purchase a Blimpie's in Murray Utah. Joined Golden Corral Familyh Steak House's in 1981. Was responsible for the 42 restaurants there. Lived in Orlando Fl. Joined Sodexo Sports & Leisure here in Boise upon our return in 2001.

Have 5 children, 3 girls and 2 sons. Lost the baby, W. Deane 7 years ago, and lost Linda to liver cancer in 2010. Have 16 grandchildren and a Springer Spaniel that keep me busy. Retired 2 years ago, and have spent a lot of time beating the rivers os Idaho to death fly fishing fot the 'Big One'.
