After graduation, I attended BJC and graduated from BSU with a degree in  General Business
in 1971 and an MBA in 1986.  I worked  over 20 years in various aspects of real estate, mortgage banking and banking.

In 1976, I received a direct commission in the Idaho Army National Guard and transferred to the Idaho Air National Guard in 1981.  After 22 years of service, I retired in 1998 with the rank of LTC.

Although living primarily in Boise, I have had the good fortune of traveling to many foreign and domestic places (hopefully with more to come).  Besides travel, I enjoy gardening, reading, golf, snow-skiing, camping and volunteering.  Currently I serve on the Advisory Board of the Osher Institute of Lifelong Learning at Boise State.

Tom Ripke and I have been married for 32 years and I have 2 great step-sons, Greg and Joe.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in September.
