In the summer of 1965, shortly after graduation, I married my long time sweetheart from our church and we moved to the Salem, Oregon area, then on into the Auburn and Puyallup, Washington area for the next seven years.  Eventually, we were able to come back to Meridian, where we bought our home and raised our family.
I was heavily involved in early childhood education during those years of having a young family myself, which eventually led me into a teaching career for many years.  I began at Greenleaf Friends Academy, then, continued teaching Pre.K and kindergarten in the Meridian area, up until my retirement in 2005.
I have been blessed with a beautiful family of five children and their spouses, eleven grandchildren, and one great grandson and looking forward to more "greats".
We enjoy being with our family, traveling, fishing and camping, also, enjoy winter visits to our  family home in Arizona.
It's difficult to believe that its actually been fifty years since our high school graduation.
