Upon graduating from Borah High, I went to work at Sears to support my brother and save money for college. In 1969, I moved to Oregon where I earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Oregon, a Masters in Counseling and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Supervision from Oregon State University. After a long and varied career as a community college counselor and instructor, university graduate school educator  and private practice psychologist, I am in the process of retiring to pursue other interests with my best friend/husband, Andrew of 33 years. We enjoy fly fishing, biking, hiking,  traveling and reading. Home base is Portland, Oregon with summers spent at our property on the St. Joe River in northern Idaho.  Not only am I grateful that I married my soul mate but I enjoy a rich circle of loving, supportive friends and family.  As a three-time cancer survivor, every day is a gift.
