After graduating from Borah, I attended the University of Washington and completed my degree in Dental Hygiene in 1969. Gary Slee and I were married in September of 1968 and we moved back to Boise after I graduated. He had a 40 year career with the Boise School District and I worked in dental offices until retiring from Boise Periodontics in 2010.
We have two children, Katie Apple born October 1971 and Ben born September 1974. We have 5 grandchildren and count ourselves lucky as our kids and grandkids live in Boise and we get to see them often.
We are enjoying retirement and have had some wonderful travel experiences. Our favorite sports are bicycle riding (nothing serious!), rafting, boating, skiing, hiking.
