BIO
After graduation had a few odd jobs while deciding what I wanted to do. Spent a summer and winter season in Sun Valley, found the difference between summer college students and winter ski bums fascinating.  Came back to Boise and thanks to fellow classmate Shirley Morrison got a job at Syms-York Printing Company spent two years there and got an itchy foot, so Judy Hanson and I bought one way tickets to Honolulu, Hawaii.  I met my first husband (a Marine stationed at Konehoe Marine air station) there on Waikiki Beach, my oldest daughter Laura was born in Kailua, Hawaii. From there the Marine Corp took us to Eatontown, New Jersey and finally to Quantico, Virginia where my youngest daughter Tina was born. From there my husband was transferred overseas and we were not able to go with him so we moved back to Boise.
I went back to work for Syms-York and was there for 16 years. From there to Mountain States Press till they closed, cofounded D&H Trade Bindery but did not agree with my business partners business practices so I left, from there to Treasure Valley Litho, decided it was time to start my own business again so a co-worker and I created Bindery Express, I bought her out in 2005 and I am still working.
My daughter Laura gave me two granddaughters and a grandson, my oldest granddaughter has 2 little boys so I am a great grandma, my youngest daughter Tina has two sons ages 13 and 15. My husband and I divorced in 1977 so I was a single Mom for a while met my second husband at Syms-York we were married in 1980 and with him came a package deal of 5 more daughters and 2 sons, plus 17 grandchildren and now 17 great grandchildren.  Don passed away in 2012 of complications from Alzhiemers and diabetes. We were married for 32 years.
We loved traveling and were lucky enough to go to Germany and Australia. Saw a lot of the US, still more I would like to see, but not as much fun by yourself. Next planned trip is with a step daughter and her husband to Italy so looking forward to that one.
