After graduating from Borah, I attended the University of Idaho. I married Rich Toney (Boise High class of 1964) in 1968. We have a daughter, son, daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters. I taught secondary language arts for 13 years and worked at the state level in education for 9 years with a few other jobs between.  I retired in 2007.
We love to travel. We’ve been to Europe and Belize. I am involved in the BSU Osher Institute for Lifelong Learning, taking interesting classes in a variety of subjects. Also I volunteer as an adult tutor at the Learning Lab. I am still snow skiing and plan to continue until I turn 70 so that I can ski for free at Bogus. I also love biking along the greenbelt, walking our two dogs, visiting our children and granddaughters, and spending time with friends.
I am looking forward to seeing my Borah classmates. We had such a great class!
