After Borah I attended the University of Idaho and the University of Oslo, Norway. I worked for the Idaho Legislature and was an executive assistant to Governor Cecil D. Andrus before going on to law school. I have practiced "Happy Law" for thirty-five years, having participated in approximately four thousand adoptions.

My wife, Debbie, and I have two awesome children, James and Mackie, and four grandchildren, (all of whom have paws). For excitement I have heart surgery. Life is good and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.
