Married to Bill Budge from our class
Fellow Borah ’65 graduate William Grayson Budge and I married in 1970 after a five year courtship.
We both graduated from what was then called Boise State College. I earned a BA in Art (1969) and Bill a BA in Sociology (1970).
Between 1969 and 1970 I taught art in the Payette Public School System. Following our marriage, we moved to Moscow, Idaho, to pursue post-graduate education. Bill did graduate work in Sociology and I earned a BS in Microbiology which led to further training as a Medical Technologist. From 1972-2011 I was a Medical Technologist at Deaconess Hospital here in Spokane, Washington. Bill retired in 2011 as the District Executive Director of the American Cancer Society. We have two children and two grandchildren and fill our retirement years with travel and volunteer activities.
